Ralph Lauren | 2021 | Retail | Build
Greater Group was engaged by the global fashion and fragrance brand, Ralph Lauren, to provide services for project management and build for a new Polo Ralph Lauren store in the Karrinyup Shopping Centre in Perth, Western Australia. The client was looking to engage a qualified project manager to deliver build and general contracting services across the enterprise and ensure the Ralph Lauren brand was accurately reflected in the final result. Greater Group has previously worked with the Ralph Lauren team, completing store-in-store displays in Melbourne’s David Jones Chadstone Shopping Centre and Queensland’s David Jones Pacific Fair Shopping Centre.
Using the design created in-house by Ralph Lauren’s head office team, along with the brand’s global design blueprint, Greater Group managed the project execution and delivered procurement-based items such as lighting, back-of-house requirements and specific material finishes. Despite the logistical challenges caused by travel restrictions and associated pandemic challenges, the build was successfully completed within a timeframe of approximately six weeks. Material matching and sourcing was a key priority, with a focus on matching overseas specifications with locally sourced alternatives, whilst still adhering to the brand’s highly recognisable global design guidelines.
