Chopard's New Office in Tsim Sha Shui

As part of its expansion into Asia and Oceania, Chopard commissioned Greater Group to create its 464.5 sqmt Head Office at The Gateway, Tsim Sha Tsui and Hung Hom  in Hong Kong. The offices had to reflect the company’s branding and premium product line as well as their corporate values of sustainability and investment into their people.

      Luxury & Professionalism

greater group knew that Chopard needed an office to match its status as one of the Grand Luxury Maisons, and so designed a foyer with a five-star hotel-feel rather than a multinational’s headquarters. Design construction drawings were completed in compliance with Chopard’s design guidelines.

The mirrored front desk creates an illusion of space, while the material selections of wood, marble and leather contribute to the upmarket feel. The overall palette of deep blues and grays is beautifully off-set by natural wood finishes and light orange accents to exude an overall atmosphere of polished professionalism.

Branding elements in the form of thoughtfully positioned product displays, photos and logotypes feature provide design highlights without being obtrusive.

      Emphasizing Views & Natural Light

Large windows are another major design feature, particularly the full-width windows of the conference room and the full-length, cornerless windows of the corner office which offer spectacular, panoramic views of the city as well as an abundance of natural light.

Other sustainable and biophilic design features include several orchids and other green accents, wood panelling and finishes, and a mountain landscape art piece reminiscent of the company’s Swiss origins.

      Prioritizing Employee Well-Being

The company’s focus on well-being and motivation of their people is reflected in the generous use of space combined with decorative pieces and warm lighting to add a human touch to the workplace. Sound-controlling carpeting and cosy booth seats in the relaxation area likewise contribute to a comfortable, yet cosmpolitan working environment.
