TPC | 2023 | Workplace | Design & Build
Greater Group developed the office design and build for TPC’s Grosvenor Place headquarters in Sydney to provide a corporate yet convivial atmosphere for staff and stakeholder collaboration. The 8-week project objectives included the use of organic elements which reflect TPC’s commitment to the decarbonisation process as well as its corporate social responsibilities.
TPC teamed up with Greater Group to achieve balance between the forward-looking, industrial nature of the energy sector and the need to establish personal, meaningful connections in the workplace.
The new TPC office is sleek and sophisticated, yet exudes a welcoming feel that puts employees and visitors at their ease. Clean lines and a generous use of space coupled with understated neutrals are offset with touches of natural green and wood finishes. Every room is corporate, yet cosy, with upper management windows looking out into the harbour and the Sydney Opera House.
Greater Group contrasted sleek minimalist design with carefully chosen textures to create spaces conducive to creative thinking and productivity. Glass walls and large windows add to the sense of openness and free flowing communication, while innovative lighting and comfortable chairs convey a company culture that is both full of energy and empathy. Relaxation spaces are chic and casual, yet blend seamlessly with the office’s overall aesthetic.
TPC Consolidated Limited owns and operates Australia’s leading electricity and gas retailer CovaU (pronounced “cover you”), which offers competitively priced consumer, industrial and commercial products.
TPC’s CovaU serves most Australian states and territories with a wide product range that includes conventional gas and electricity as well as renewable energy products such as solar and ‘greenpower’ plans.
